One: Fire Exit Running, by two_if_by_sea. MomoRyo. For once she didn't have Ryouma run away with Tezuka, and yet it still wrings the set-up for every last drop of angst. I give up. XD;;; *goes to listen to the sappy Laura Pausini "Solitudine" song and hates on Nanjirou for a bit*

No, seriously, it's heartbreaking because it's believable. Those are the worst.

Two: Water Over Stone, by sesame_seed (to be found in temps_mort under the recent "Water" challenge). TezuFuji. ...Some months ago I commented to starlighter (I think ^^;) that the way to fudge TezuFuji and their respectively distant personalities was to write it as overriding illogical physical attraction. And then proceeded to write nothing of the sort. Remember that?

This fic is better.

EDIT -- Spamming even though this has nothing to do with fic recs, but hey! I just discovered how make menu bars like Xcolibur! Saikou! ...Half my designs are gacked off lj in some shape or form. ^^;

EDIT2 -- Unlocked entry. I could do something productive now. Or I could watch this Prince of Tennis clip that's been burning a hole in my data key...

EDIT3 -- When will I ever learn that I need to be drunk when I watch these things?

two_if_by_land is very, very evil. Her fics make me want to cry. She is so impossibly attached to angst, but I read them anyway, because it's her, and I always end up curling into a call in front of the computer. >:O

And man, thank you so much for the Tezuka/Fuji fic. I needed that.

Good sequence of recs. One fic to break the heart, and another to patch it back up. I am drowning in the bounty of beautiful PoT fic.

And now I'm going to angst even more whenever I hear that song.
