A quick one
Feb. 27th, 2004 02:25 pmJoy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
Shush, it's a request. >_> And anyhow I have to do my intermittent sl0ring duty by the people who're now reading this for 20.5 translations and whatnot, right? In fact, here, have another classic:
Joy Division - She's Lost Control
Most of the time I listen to JD on headphones in front of the computer, possibly reading angst fic - with the lights off - not to be cliché or anything. But dis eez club music that I heard first on the dancefloor, I swear it. Am I right and this is the first goth two-step ever? How did people dance to this before the goth two-step was invented?
Junkie XL Ft. Dave Gahan - Reload
More Broadcast From The Computer Hell Cabin. Depeche Mode-ish like "Perfect Blue Sky" was Cure-ish. (The entire album is along these lines. There's Gary Numan and, like, Peter Tosh...) Not as catchy as the latter, but well, it's Dave Gahan singing an electro darkwave number that was originally meant to be on the Matrix Reloaded OST but wasn't, which should give you a very precise idea of what it sounds like.
