Packages are starting to straggle out. ^^;;; Ah vell. I am hobbit-kin, you will get them by my birthday? And no, I haven't forgotten, I've still got a few fic commentaries owing from the meme. Just there's... this debilitatingly fluffy TeniPuri fic I'm trying to write right now. Yeah yeah, t3h h4t3, whatev'. XD Damned series is eating my brain cycles like candy, and as long as I'm going to be rendered useless I may as well be productive. If you see what I mean.

Notes for public edification and a multicultural Spring Festival: retsina v. good with Peking duck and greasy roast pork. (Opa!) Also, you know how the outside of biscotti tins tell you the Italian way of eating them is dipped in dessert wine? Candied-orange-peel biscotti, golden muscat wine. O Mama mia.

Haha, I am always talking about food. Food and anime/manga are my life. (Not entirely, but they are all I talk about on the lj. The world's gone enough to the dogs that I save the serious material for real life.)

...So, like, you want any of this TeniPuri music? In exchange for all your and sanguinesque's fic I've been reading. XD Because life is damned near incomplete if you haven't heard Ryouma serenading his cat. Or Fuji and Yuuta building sand castles. Or all the really scary team captains singing a sappy wistful ballad in parts.

*laughs* I believe I HAVE heard Ryoma serenading his cat and Fuji and Yuuta building sand castles, although the former I am like "RYOMA/KARUPIN, MY OTP <333333333" and the latter makes me break out into hives because I still swear they sound like chipmunks. On the other hand, Tezuka singing = ... WTF? I really like the song "Ever", though, if only I am a sappy sappy idiot along with Tezuka's sappy sappy ballads. "Subete o kake" always makes me picture him with a guitar and a hat under a spotlight on a stage. -___- I am weird.

Eheh, all of Tezuka's songs are sappy/folksy ballads like that. Only kind of song his voice actor is good at I have this theory that Tezuka has no music of his own, because he's boring 'n' nota15yrold and all, and the guidebook says he's only got a tape deck radio in his room, so I figure all he ever listens to are his mum's old cassettes. Hence, sentimental retro jpop ballads. <33

The funneh thing about the Fuji-Yuuta song (apart from the fact that it really is ky00t if you grok what they're singing) is that the whole thing is, like, Fuji's flashback. And Yuuta's all, "stop staring at me and smiling like that, aniki, you're creeping me out. >:O"

Tezuka would make an interesting musician. Um. Just like Fuji and the rest, although I absolutely adore Ryoma's voice because I am, you know, boring and predictible like that.

I don't doubt that the sandcastle song is really cute! And oh Yuuta. *weeps* Oh how adorable that kid is.

MinaJun (Ryouma) is great. <3 (I am a fan of Ryouma in the gen sense, and also in the needs-to-be-illegally-sexed-up sense, of which last there is a tragic lack.) And I suspect on some subconscious level I conceive of Seigaku as being a Korean boyband anyway; the other day I caught myself thinking that it's all right if Kaidou can't really sing - either the VA or the musical version - because he's, like, obviously the rapper of the group. (Tezuka is the leader, Eiji is the dancer, Ryouma is the baby, Ooishi is the sensitive songwriter, Fuji is the fangirl favorite who gets starring roles in doramas. See?)

And I do think in all seriousness that Atobe is going to be a popstar when he grows up. Meanwhile, the closest we can get to all this is Kimeru aka musical!Fuji's blog... in which he talks about getting two-for-one deals on tempura shrimp because the takeout counter guy thinks he's a hot chick. Also, getting drunk and macking on / being macked on by various other members of the musical cast. Oh, the humanity.

Specifically a Korean one? *laughs* But Kaidoh rapping amuses me to no end. Especially if you put Inui on the spin table. And like, Taka obviously has to play the drums or something.

I have yet to see Fuji in the musical. Right now I'm still at the point where the freshmen are making deadly fools of themselves and ignoring naked!Ryoma, which personally I find exceptionally hard to do.
