Why cannot I download from Shi-Ran? Why will it not work? I am bereft, my life is a wasteland of bitter salt.

I have been good this evening. I made the layout for that Honoo no Mirage info site and watched the fanservicey based-on-an-H-game anime Re-Miel's making me watch. Surely I deserve a reward? (Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito. Though he's right, it's not half bad. >_> <_< Clever, a nod and a wink to the conventions, and the main evil appears to be a refugee from Ikuhara Land. Five minutes of crack!Utena in between the boob-groping - cue cognitive dissonance. The saabisu isn't any worse than the GetBackers manga, which of course says something about the GetBackers manga, but hells.)

I was just trying to get the next couple chapters of Viewfinder. ^^; (And the TeniPuri dj, as it occurred to me belatedly that T is teh Kodaka fan.) Never mind, I have them now. Don't know if it's because it won't work over the home connection, or if their servers have righted themselves.

Well, I know it won't work over the home connection. Their javascript eats my download manager. -_-;

YamiBoushi, one has decided, is bloody brilliant after all. It did take a bit of a slack roundabout eps 5-7, but as of 8 and 9 it was back to full form. Fanservice scaled down, we get yet ANOTHER amusing interpretation of Kaguya-hime myth, all the 'gozaimasu' we ever wanted... and Gargantua-sama. So much so, that one spend half of an evening taking various screen captures of him in episode 9.

It is not since Utena/TenNiMon that one has really seen this particular brand of surreal aesthetics-on-rampage.

Gargantua-sama alone makes the series worth watching. That, and a storyline from which you REALLY don't know what to expect next. Which is not a right, but a luxury these days - sadly.

Well, good. I did enjoy episode 2, as you see, which is all I've had the chance to view so far. *g* It will come.

I think I'm trying to make up for two years of not watching very much anime at all.
