poptimists nomination rules - I'd not submitted any nominations at all, since I assumed the task would be impossible (and also that no one would vote for my picks anyway XD;), until I hit upon the bright idea of reading through THE ENTIRETY OF MY PITAS BLOG ARCHIVE to see what I was really listening to at the time. For reals. I had to go to fifteen, though, as the Oricon would have been a vastly more useful delimiter than the UK Top 40.

( SONGS I AM UNCOMFORTABLE WITH LISTING )
A few of these represent entire albums rather than themselves, but fewer than I'd thought before making the list. I'd still fight an internet duel on behalf of any of them (well... except for "Lady Marmalade" I guess).
