Late, late
Nov. 11th, 2003 12:53 amUnlocked the last entry, so everyone can understand what I mean when I say I don't fic for historical series because I'd get into trouble.
(Will note in passing something I forgot totally this afternoon, which is that Okita in Gohatto reads Ugetsu Monogatari and Discovers BL Innit. I'm too tired to relate this back to the theorising in a coherent manner; will only note that the first time I saw the film this made me laugh like a maniac, despite the Deep Metaphorical Significance of the scene. Easily amused doesn't half cover it.)
Saving my oh-so-witty commentary re Saizo x P-chan for another day - before I collapse into a heap I have to inform the world at large of this manga T randomly picked off the G-COMI shelf, Mawata no Oukou by Minamino Mashiro. (Manga Bonbons page, scroll down - dear saints there's a second volume of it.) Basically it's The Velveteen Rabbit, Boypr0n Version. Bunny becomes real (bishounen), and talks in a cute Kansai accent he learnt from boy's mummy, but is bashful of sleeping with boy because - I think I've got this right - he's afraid of losing his stuffing. So boy spends tankoubon persuading bunny. There is a little brother and a nosy neighbour. Hijinks ensue; no scarlet fever as of yet.
...Some of you are probably broken. That's fine with me. This last bit was all about sharing out the pain.
