It's December already
Dec. 1st, 2003 12:59 amThere's snow on the ground, and aaaahhh I'll never be finished in time. Portion control problems with regard to workload; enough of you out there know exactly what I'm talking about.
So Prince of Tennis! Lux sent me 97 episodes of Prince of Tennis (which in my arcane and arbitrary mental calculation of fannish giri I have set down as meaning that I owe her the entirety of the next chapter of tBD plus Christmas fic, but I digress). As I've already read the manga, I've decided to adopt a slightly different approach to this anime by watching the beginning and then the rest out of order, according to importance. Thus I ask you, TeniPuri fans at large: which are the episodes I should watch first? As in Top Ten, Do Not Miss?
...I should seriously figure out how to copy digisubs onto tape or VCD so me mum can watch them on the telly. ^^; Not to mention everyone else I know who can't watch digisubs.
A second question: would anyone be interested in getting a mealworm lolly for Christmas? *evil grin* Is a usual barley sugar lolipop, about 1" x 1 1/2", with a whole mealworm embalmed in it. Looks gross, perfectly edible. I got two when I went to the Botanic Garden for the bug tasting (I bet all of you thought I was joking when I posted that), so I can vouch for the provenance.
The fried locusts were yummy, especially in a vinegar-and-ginger dipping sauce like you'd make for crab. Mmm, land shrimp.
