Still at work

Actually I went out for my usual biweekly client meeting 4:30-6:30, and am now back at the office doing desultory DWMX template tweaking. Procrastination? It doesn't feel like it, actually. More like a reluctance to brave the hour of public transport home. Officially winter, now; it snowed this morning, which turned to freezing rain, which turned to rain rain.

For the record, I do listen to stuff other than adult-contemporary europop circa '93; it's just that... Look, here's the deal. My dad used to listen religiously to this Saturday evening program that was piped in from some ballroom event attended mostly by ethnic seniors, and they'd play this song as a slow dance every single time, to the point where it became for me entirely wrapped up with the concept of slow dancing, and of course I never found out what it was called or who sang it, because I don't speak Italian. Ten years is a long time to be harbouring a recurring earworm and not know what the hell its name is. I'd be ecstatic about finding the mp3 if I weren't so embarrassed by the fact that it's a Heartbroken Schoolgirl Song (tm).
