You know, I'd promise to shut up about Get Backers, but I won't be able to keep to it. So instead I'll encourage you folks to filter me. ^_^;;;

(Though in lieu of which, I've been friended lately by several people who... I'm not sure how they got here, actually. *g* But whottheheck, it's free. My stance has always been that everyone is entitled to my opinion.)

see, i have a locked personal journal (http://www.livejournal.com/users/sweet_adora) that i used to post fangirling in and i think it would annoy certain people on my friends list who had no interest in whatever i was talking about, so i bought an LJ specifically for fangirling- music, posts in japanese, rpg game blogs, random fangirling, you name it.

AND THEN IT BECAME ALL GETBACKERS ALL THE TIME and i think certain people want to shoot me >_> <_< XD;;;

On the bright side, at least it's cheapie shounen manga and not, well, FSS. ^^; (It's also coming out in English, but it'll be an eternity before they reach the good bits.)

The fandom gods know that I deserve forgiveness for my endless RPG character popcult psych and canonpicking.

Sometimes I'm a bit confused by people who friend and never bother to comment on entries. Odd. Do they feel that it would be rude to comment without knowing the person? Although I'm a member of the friend amnesty society, sometimes I do confess to being curious as to why people friend.

I've actually been following your RPG blogs with interest. (Well, the FFX, not the Suiko, as I fondly imagine I'll actually play it eventually and don't want to be spoilered. *g*)

I have, come to think of it, several people friended that I almost never comment on (most of which being high-comment-volume "popular" journals where I don't know the person especially well, but just find them interesting in the same way as, say, Neil Gaiman's blogfeed). OTOH I often go for weeks or even months without commenting on my friends' journals either; I tend to assume that if they know they're friended, then they know I'm paying attention, and can fill in the nods and vaguely encouraging noises for themselves. XD

Ah. I was wondering if anyone read them, but since I had so much fun writing them and I cut them, I figured my friends list would forgive me. I just tend to figure that if someone comments, that means that they liked the entry. SIII came out again, so you can now get it for a reasonable price. LJ does kill the webpagemaking impulse. I could have had a nice shrine to all the Destroyers had I edited that entry and turned it into character summaries.

The mere fact of friending is a form of backchannel/aizuchi? Shall file it on upcoming posts about LJ manners.
