Very very sleepy, mind broken

petroniaInsanity due to the frustration of standing in a line that didn't move for 2 1/2 hours, trying unsuccessfully to buy advance FantAsia tickets. I think I've reached some sort of fannish boiling point, whereupon all my fandoms have started running over the edges into each other. The last time this happened was when I eventually started writing "The Lay of Nine", the fic that involved Saitoh as a supernaturally-powered modern-day police detective, Kenshin living downstairs to Nuriko and DJ!Hotohori picking up Yuusuke's mum Atsuko in his limousine. This time around I've about managed to negociate the co-universal existence of Weiss Kreuz with Gravitation, Initial D, Hikaru no Go and Kodomo no Omocha. You can start praying now that it doesn't get written.
Also, most of the characters in my hypothetical musespace are now dressed up as pirates, aided and abetted by the fact that I've seen piratical fanart for half of them before, oh those wacky Japanese webmasters. Broadly speaking it's a flattering look (Schuldich resembles Axl Rose more than ever, and Akira isn't any worse off), except for the really stodgy ones who elected to be redcoats. No doubt they will turn Indians eventually, and Lost Boys. Except for Farfarello, who always was a pirate in the first place.
...Tomorrow I'm going to regret posting this. I know it. So why do I do it?

Also, the WK/Gravi juncture is sick and creepy, the WK/Kodocha juncture is humourous, and the Gravi/HnG/IniD juncture is secretly a ParaKiss fic about the fashion industry. It's not going to hold together like tLoN.
And it wasn't *supposed* to be a pirate AU. Wah.
