Hormones is obviously what it is; that or lack of sleep. I had the Sen to Chihiro image album playing earlier, in order to write, and halfway through the drabble I was tearing up. You know sometimes you get one of those moments? Like, OMFG DON'T BE A T00B WOMAN KTHX?

...Right now I've downed a sizeable g&t and am listening to Escaflowne and various CLAMP OSTs (ALI Project, remember them?). Maaya Sakamoto's songs give me proliferating HP5 ficbunnies. I get the impression Padfoot/Moony is emo with teeth that's been stalking me, waiting for a propitious moment to pounce. [livejournal.com profile] helvetius, kimi no sei da...

Maybe I'll go read some of the comics Erin lent me (Promethea book 1-3, VertigoPop: London). Or maybe I'll go to bed. Either way I won't be held accountable for anything I write tonight.

Edit -- think you not that "Peony Pink" is a great song for inappropriate fanvids? Like... Seion running away from the angels gnosis! KOS-MOS opening up a can of whup-ass! ...Okay, bed it is.

(BTW I'm looking forward to FantAsia like you have no idea. As soon as the tickets come on sale, I'm there. It was cancelled last year, fallout from which being no insanely bleeding-edge anime - FantAsia screened Jin-Roh, Perfect Blue, Blood the Last Vampire and Spriggan two years before basically anyone else in the English-speaking world. I was at the international - i.e. pre-Japan - premieres of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and Millennium Actress, and I have Kon Satoshi's autograph complete with pen drawing of Chiyoko to prove it. I helped him communicate with an usher. ...It's to the point where I don't talk about this schtuff sober, because it doesn't make sense even to me. Montreal. WTF?

So no insane anime this year. But will be fun all the same - check out the lineup and suggest what you think I should go see. XD)

Hey, ALI Project isn't nearly as gone-and-forgotten as you think; they're working their way into the minds of fanboys across the land nowadays with the Noir OP...

You speak to the woman who has three remixes of Coppelia no Hitsugi on mp3, plus off-vocals. XD It's just been a long time since I've listened to anything anime-related.

No, I haven't. ^^; ...You wouldn't know where I could get them, would you?

It's okay, you don't hafta, I've got them now. (As well as the rest of the OSTs in question. Occasionally I'm bemused by my own efficiency. >_>)

Promethea is excellent. I recommend it very strongly indeed.

I've started, and it does indeed look to be very good. (I owe a biggie to Alan Moore - LoEG might finally get my sister to read the rest of Conan Doyle.)
