Sororial unit and I giggled at the Penfield mapping, because my dad did a painting of Mrs. Penfield for the Montreal Neuro. Nice to know the good doctor's scientific contributions will still be remembered 4000 years into the future.

Also, I did not know Villiers de l'Isle-Adam coined the word "android". See? Video games are educational.)

It is my guiltiest secret that I really, really love the keyword vocabulary list in Xenosaga just because it was obviously written by a sci-fi geek of the HIGHEST possible caliber. Wait till the Durandal shows up. You'll squeal.

I'm a slut for vocab lists and item descriptions in general - sit late at night paging through them so as not to drive my sister to despair during actual play. They fill in the world so nicely. It was one of the things I liked best about Vagrant Story ("Dried yak livers? Mmm, vitamin A!")

Yes, I know where it comes from. ::wryly:: I'm a medieval literature geek, too.

However, the Durandal is just the coolest-looking ship in the entire game, being shaped like the sword for which it is named.
