Now that the Canadian dollar has actual discernable value, I paid for my livejournal. What does this mean? If my adventures in domain registration are in any way representative, precious little in practice. ^_^; I've inadvertently destroyed my pink layout, which is all right as I was getting tired of it anyway. I may upload some more icons. Later.

I suspect tonight's 300 words went toward the pitasblog (my theory on why Starbucks is Shinra Corp. in larval form. Also, candy). Argh.

I always like to think of it as the Umbrella Corp.

that may be true, as their coffee induces us to pull all nighters and turn into zombies the following day. however, their coffee does not make us... itchy.. tasty...

Hmm. If I were looking for Starbucks's evil plan, I'd skip forward a game to VIII and Space Compression: they seek to make all places into a single place over which their wavy goddess icon will have dominion. (nobody's quite sure why or how, of course, 'cuz everyone's skipping this confusing cutscene so they can get back to playing cards anyway.)

Wireless access is a key part of this, like the comfy chairs: Starbuckses are a place--in the going to/spending time in sense--in a way that McDonald'ses aren't.

That's really cool, though, about Lloyd's; the analogy is compelling.

Yeah but, that bad?

(I mean, it was obvious she was going to fuck him over somehow. But that was just desolation and futility. T_T)

I guessed that book was going nowhere quite sometime ago. There just couldn't be a point. So.

I suspect he's really like Katherine Neville? (BTW, she has her own webpage and a research BlogThingy (http://www.katherineneville.com/advents.htm). ^^)
