Memory (all alone in the moonlight...)

I made up a memories page for all the ficposts I've ever made to lj. So you can browse that, if you haven't been reading me for over a year. OTOH if it's marked 'chapter draft' or 'complete draft', chances are the final version is up on my website anyway. And a third of the posts came within the last month. ^^;

Went to see All About Lily Chou-Chou tonight, with Ced. Am posting notice of it here in order to guilt myself into writing the review on pitas. I just... don't want to talk about war, and if I write on pitas aka Serious Journal I'm going to start talking about war. And history, and all that crud.

could this be the beginning of a new trend in blogging and fic writing?
quick hit and runs of fragmented fics? have we moved to a new level of fic-ing, much like mtv culture with incessant cuts generated at 100 per minute?

i jest and exaggerate, but i still must wonder.

I'm not the first to do it this way. Tons of people have been posting fics in bits like this ever since ficblogging got to be a trend - about two years now. No jest, no exaggeration. ^^;

And if you want incessant cuts, try one of the drabble archives/communities/challenges. Drabbles are super-popular these days, and it may be for the reason you describe.
