Baby diary: 11 weeks

 Alan:

• Outgrowing another set of clothes. He's in 6-9 month outfits now. Here's praying he takes to his big crib as the bassinet is rapidly becoming too small.
• Still has flare-ups of dermatitis, though never bad enough to invite drastic measures. He's still endocrinologically(sp?) tied to me through the breast milk: if I break out, he breaks out, and vice versa. The problem is, I've never been very good at identifying what makes me break out. :/
• Is able to play in an activity gym - that is, he can see and succeed in hitting/kicking toys hung within reach. I hadn't realized the things all come with a baby-sized pillow, but it's very useful as he spits up easily out of excitement.
• Drunk Elephant cosmetics packaging is like crack, colour-wise. Black and white and fluo orange.
• Thinks the baby in the mirror is another baby!
• Not sure what he thinks of the mirror!Mom holding the mirror!baby. Well, Lacan has something to say about it, but Lacan is wrong.
• Thinks the ceiling has eyes (the inset halogen fixtures in my parents' living room). I fed him downstairs so I could watch the Oscars, and at first we thought he was laughing and chatting at me from my lap, but no... he was talking to Ceiling Eyes.

Fussy Wonder Week #3 is supposed to start now-ish, maybe the frequent night wake-ups have something to do with it? Anyway, my Mom is going to China for a month and I'll be going back to my place so wish me luck, lol.
