petroniaThe anthology is divided into thematic sections. ("Scholarly Ponderings", "Parodies Absurdes Et Cruelles"...) A week or so ago I ran a very hot bath at 2AM, melted an entire Lush cinnamon bubble bar in it, and sat in it until 5AM reading "Six Classic Pastiches", all of which were published by dudely Irregulars during the 1940s.
RIGOROUS STATISTICAL ANALYSIS
Stories later published as original fiction via time-honoured method of switching out the names: 2
Stories hinging on the batshit insanity of rare book collectors: 2

Stories in which Watson's hawtness is an actual plot point: 1
Stories that end with Watson being like Holmes I ttly get why you have involved me in this case and what the takeaway moral is supposed to be but GUESS WHAT I AM MARRYING HER ANYWAY: 1
Stories in which evil Nazis are foiled: 1
Not bothered right now to crunch numbers for the parodies but yeah Holmes' drug use? Joeks since 1890.
