Came across some ten-year-old writing while clearing out the hard drive of an old computer - everything I've ever written is backed up in five different places but I backed it up again just in case, even though the only value it has is historical (I've never been one of those "delete in fit of loathing" types, more like a "what if in 200 years this will be useful to someone writing a PhD on the origins of online fanfiction" type). At least one of the origfics is worth recycling, even: something needs to be done about the plot mechanics - as in, there aren't any beyond coincidence - but the initial premise is too good to waste, and I probably have enough of a command of the grown-up stuff by now to fill in the copious blanks. WITH SATIRE. What is really weird about this story, though, is that the main character is CLEARLY Zachary Quinto.

I do not even find the dude cute, srsly. (Actually, it is funnier than this, but I would have to get into tiresome plot shiz to explain why.)
