petroniaMom/sis are back from China. I need to make another tea post. A picspam tea post.
(I'm worried about all this "new tea" since it's been in my grandmother's fridge and thus could be "new tea" from '04 for all we know. ^^; It's like beaujolais nouveau, you're not supposed to keep it.)
Actually... I really want more of this. XD It's just tea bags but it doesn't taste like jasmine green from China at all (I don't know if better-quality Indonesian jasmine green is along the same lines?), and I can't find it here. ...I should make a trade with an Indonesian flister. Anyone? WILL WRITE FOR TEA. XD;;;
Also pretty amazing: sholeh zard - and I note it's a no-brainer to make. However like any other saffron-containing recipe the saffron will set you back ten to fifteen bucks, if you don't happen to have some in the cupboard already.
P.S. I didn't even get told off for the ridiculously expensive matcha powder since my mother had matcha on JAL and really liked it! Man, service has gotten better, when I flew JAL two years ago I didn't get no matcha or plum wine.
