petronia1) The "Pope Benedict's hottie archbishop secretary BF" joke is funny in inverse proportion to how factual you think it is. That is, it's hilarious as pure Onion-style satire, mordant if you assume Ratzinger (who is into haute couture vestments and such) just prefers to have someone aesthetically pleasing to look at if he has to spend the entire day with them, depressing if you ponder the possibility that dude is actually a gay repressed to the point of implosion (per Andrew Sullivan), and inexpressibly awful in the implications if they were actually Doing It.
...Then again, I guess that's just the mechanism of an Onion-style joke? Apart from the ones that are true, anyway.
2) The Cadillac ATS test drive. Which I wrote up on Tumblr and would either link or cp over in its entirety, if I hadn't forgotten that I can't access Tumblr from this office. XD; (The wonderful thing about LJ/DW that has continued wonderful all these years is that no one ever thinks to block them. Unless you're in Russia, I suppose.)
