Could be the Emo Ballad of Winter 2005 (the other day I played "Couches in Alleys" and realised I can only hear it as the Emo Ballad of Winter 2004 - I posted it almost exactly a year ago). The Mylo mix reworks in "Balearic" chill house style; one thing I learnt from listening to the Mylo album is that the man has a heart of warm melted cheese, displayed nicely here on toast. The Ulrich Schnauss mix sounds like Ulrich Schnauss, i.e. a river of ice breaking up on a spring night, under the stars. It rewards closed eyes and attentiveness.
My association with this song is that bit in Nana 11 where Oosaki Nana goes back to her room to stave off an incipient hyperventilation attack, and (going by memory) the scene dissolves into a shot of Miu gazing at the fish in her aquarium.
I know I was supposed to repost Ran Mix this week but flaked out, sorry. Will up it next week if I don't complete any other mixes in the interim. ^^;
The sound in the left half of my headphones has abruptly cut out. From experience this is fatal with earbuds, I don't know about these. O_O;;
