Finished Mirage 19 on the metro this morning. Managed not to scream out loud in public ("Go help him, Naoe!" or some such) but immediately proceeded to lose 60$, as was so distracted by the vision in my head that after taking money out of the bank machine I left the building with my card but not the actual bills. Realised it all of forty-five seconds later but it was too late and someone had walked off with it. Geebus, some days you can only laugh at your own otaku retardedness. I'd be a lot more upset if it were a possession I were attached to, like a purse or a CD player, but money is only a few hours sitting at a computer.

Now reading vol.20 on lunch break. Dammit, oniisan, you break my heart. And Ayukawa! Real war buddies lend you their chalets for the summer (the Canadian in me is putting up a fierce fight for the right to make a shack joke. SHE MAKES IT SOUND EXACTLY LIKE THE LAURENTIANS OKAY). No, seriously, if I had a friend like that to call on I would not have lived my life in vain, is the phrase that comes to mind. Would I do that for any of my friends? Maybe. I don't know. Nothing like it has ever come up. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't go out of my way to feed them, though. Fuckit, Naoe, you have the keys to the house, you can damn well take a few hours out from non-stop sex and hike down to Saint-Agathe-des-Monts to buy your own cuppa noodles.
