Happy V-day
Feb. 14th, 2005 08:43 pmWasn't very successful at compiling a mix CD for T's Valentine's Day Party this year, and feel a bit of a failure because of it. (I suppose I could've burned my 30 Kisses Mix, but it's wussyindie like whoa and not party music at all.) Sadly I am mostly looking forward to the party because I'll be able to watch more Gundam Seed. Though it occurred to me over the weekend that we were probably watching Destiny instead of the first series, which would be why it appeared nonsensical and insane. The first series is out on DVD, though, so I'll just make a detour to Sci-Fi after work and rent the thing. (Please let it be in the shop argh.)
On the bright side, management gave us reverse giri-choco again. XD For like teh first time evar found myself wanting chocolate last night, possibly as a result of reading more Love Mode (either that or I started reading Love Mode because I was in a chocolate mood). Went to bed and dreamt fuzzily about Love Mode and chocolates. No, not those chocolates. It was entirely PG and involved me riding the elevators in Blue Boy headquarters for reasons entirely lost to my conscious mind, unsurprising as BBHQ is basically the Shinra Building Of Romanticized Male Prostitution and I've lost count of the number of dreams I've had about riding the Shinra Building elevators. If it's not that it's malls, or cramped Chinese-city alleyways, or the rambling grounds of dilapidated mansions. I think it's all a metaphor for the inner workings of my own mind.
(i.e. the inside of my head is a geometric building full of room-suites, some of which contain bishounen? ......Sounds about right.)

moderntime: music tag meme.
1. Total amount of music files on your computer: 41.3 GB, 7702 songs, will tot up the number of days when I have time (the playlist library count being quite obviously wrong). That's my work computer. My home computer was something like 55 GB last time I checked, but that was a month or two back. ^^;
2. The last CD you bought was: single - George Michael, "Amazing"; album - Étienne de Crécy, "Superdiscount 2". ...Actually I just don't remember which one I bought before the other.
3. What is the song you last listened before you read this message? Spitz, "Koi ga hajimari".
4. Write down 5 songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.
(boringly presented without any explanation whatsoever, but will be remedied once I find the time to do so)
Leonard Cohen - Suzanne
Southern All-Stars - Manatsu no kajitsu
Gigi Leung - Coward
The Carpenters - Yesterday Once More
New Order - Regret
5: Who are you going to pass this stick to? (3 persons) and why? Not tagging peeps I know already to have been tagged, so:
tsutanai,
kickinpants,
methexis. ...Er, is there any possible reason other than blatant curiosity? XD
