So I worked a full eight hours of overtime, because production upload is set for Monday and I'm fairly incompetent at estimating the amount of time it takes me to wrap up a project. 3PM-11PM, eheh, the upside being that I'm a lot less jittery when it's quiet and there's no one walking around my desk. I'm one of those people who have to sit with their backs to the wall in restaurants, so you can imagine what it's like for me to work from an open cube next to a much-frequented corridor. The only saving grace is that I've never had an office, so I don't know any better. (Also, could actually take ten minutes and read the latest chapter of Prince of Tennis. XD) Downside was I just got contacts today and couldn't see the screen very well at all. O_O; It's not the same blurry as it was; feels like the astigmatism was fixed but the lenses were simultaneously off by .25-.5, except of course that makes no sense. All I know is that it was hard as hell to get both eyes to focus on a point. Small print at a distance of more than a foot was no go. Will try again at intervals over the weekend, and see if it's just an adjustment issue. Otherwise it was fairly comfortable, given that I ended up wearing dem 8-hour soft lenses for ten hours on the first day. XD;;

Work again tomorrow. Hockey game (the Habs are losing like mad =_=;) and possibly house party on Sunday, probably equating to no sleep at all Sunday night if I decide to attend, and a mercifully late lunch party on Monday. Taxes to be finished sometime within this timeframe. What time off?
