Did really no one else know that Tezuka is Seitokaichou? ^_^;;; (From the freetalks. Seigaku ichiban tsuyoi otoko da... to itta, Sensei wa. XD;; I couldn't have imagined it, I was laughing too hard.) It's not in the anime anywhere? I'd thought not only that they'd put in that bit, but that they made Ooishi VP or treasurer, and that was why the poor boy was calling for people's attention at the blackboard in the Karupin ep. He sure as heck sounded like the Student Council of my high school: "Sorry, people, we have to do this during lunch..."

#1 [makes everything seem funny]
Layered shot: 1/3 Kahlua (coffee liqueur), 1/3 Bailey's (Irish cream), 1/3 Goldschlager (cinnamon schnapps)

In a tumbler:
1 part peach schnapps
1 part amaretto
1 part dark rum
4 parts orange juice
pour a bit of grenadine syrup over the back of a spoon for "sunrise" effect and stick a slice of orange on the brim

In... one of the manga tankoubon, not too early on. Mid-teens, I think. (Not the one where readers were asked to write in to be assigned to Tezuka's class, by any chance?)

The freetalks are great, though. How else would one know that there's a parrot in the Kikumaru household? Or that Jirou tends to put on the wrong underwear in the locker room? XD;;

Oh, my god, I love you. So much. Especially for the info about Tezuka, but also because of this. Well. And the parrot. Are we absolutely positively sure that this isn't a yaoi manga? Because Jiroh wearing someone else's underwear seems like a bad yaoi fanfic just waiting to happen.

Oh, I think it's that Jirou puts on his own wrong underwear, as it were. XD Because normally they'd have to change into their, um, sports things, don't they? *waves hand vaguely - Catholic girl's school, me* And Jirou being Jirou gets distracted and goes out to play matches in his non-supportive undies.

...It was the Hyoutei Q&A column, and some girl wrote in to ask why Jirou was wearing his boxers under his team uniform. Because apparently, if you stare closely enough, you can tell these things (I cannot, alas, corroborate). The hilarious bit - I mean, apart from the fact that said question made the column - was that the answer was given by all the other members. 'Cos, y'know, they've all been checking out that piece of action.

A parrot, and a dog. One belongs to a sister, and the other belongs to a granny, but I can't remember which is which. (Also, Ooishi gets invited to dinner a lot - he makes it sound like the Weasleys in Harry Potter.)

I'm still traumatized distracted by the thought of Jiroh swimming in Kabaji's underwear, because the image just will not leave my brain. And it burns, yo. However, I'm not sure what's funnier--that Konomi-sensei put this little detail into the manga or that the fangirls noticed it. (I really do wonder about Konomi-sensei's intentions sometimes. Is he just playing up to the fangirls in the audience or is he really hinting...? >_>)

If Oishi goes to dinner a lot, then there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for why the parrot is often found to be chirping, "Oishi! Oishi!" Really. *drags mind back out of the gutter*

Anyway, I remember noticing that Jirou had stripey shorts in the manga (dunno if they are in the anime off hand) and me and my friends wondered if they weren't just his boxer shorts... So yei! Question answered. Thank you! XD

Glad to be of use (though to be honest I don't know if I've got it right - it would make more sense if Jirou were failing to change back out of his shorts when he left the clubroom ^^;).
