Hot or not
Jun. 10th, 2009 02:31 amReading fic again, after about a year of not really doing so (post- running out of the Libs stuff). I'm not even sure where to go for the stuff anymore. XD; I read stuff written by my LJ flisters, or that turn up in their del.icio.us recs. But I don't have a sense of the boundaries, structures, or BNFs of any given animanga or media fandom.
Stuff I have read recently:
-WK (more Schwarzfic basically)
-random Star Trek off the new movie
-Bleach
Still not reading Dr. Who fic, unless there is a resource out there that sorts stories by season spoilers contained therein. That is the sort of thing I mean by fandom structure. :P
I'm getting weirdly obsessive over WIPs. The main ones are The Berchtesgaden Debriefing and Traffic, obviously. The stickler re the latter is the action sequence which I've finally plotted through in conformity with the laws of physics, so there's technically nothing to stop me finishing it, except that I'd rather spend time with the former, which isn't properly plotted through at all. Though I'm thinking about the stuff I never wrote as well. Like: for the Nana manga, there should be a Ren/Shin story (it doesn't need more than one). Or Byakuya/Renji, which is SO DIFFICULT. I actually can't think of a pairing - that is somewhat popular - with a worse batting average.
