Nothing like red meat in winter

Spicy Uighur hotpot with Ced, Tania and Henk last evening - along with lamb skewers, juicy steamed meat buns and pilaf. :D As well as meat are provided Chinese cabbage; tofu cubes; fresh ramen noodles; mung bean glass noodles; and several sauces.

Tania thinks of this cuisine as S. Russian, I think of it as N. Chinese. But mmm, SPICED MUTTON.

Could I have lived a contented life without ever seeing dollfie!Ikkaku? Almost certainly. (Then again, correct me if I'm wrong but it's easier not to attach hair to the things, no?) I do admire the effort, let alone the people who hand-modded all of Renji's tattoos. And where are the Prince of Tennis dollfies? I will laugh if you claim they don't exist.

Shimada Nami - Sun Shower: I had the Larry Levan remix on the Oshitari Mix. There's a rather good write-up of this song on Discogs, and as stated it really is all about the neat 3D sound effects.

Bertine Zetlitz - Girl Like You: another Richard X production, and my favorite song of the week. Even more than the previous song this needs a good pair of headphones at very least, because for the pure gimmicky hell of it the listener is turned 45 degrees from the way s/he usually faces (play it and see). I played it first on 2-front, 2-back computer speakers, and the throbbing strings circle like sharks of DISCO DRAMA.

Ced asked for the Braxe remix of "Heartbeat". So I uploaded it, and then I thought... eh.

One is convinced that "Heartbeat" is perfect as it is on the album, but the Maurice Fulton mix for one turns it into a significantly different but good song. XD My favorite is the Royksopp remix, but my licensed-sample wma of it expired, wouldn't you know. :/ Someone send me an mp3 kthx.
