Anime is foiling me

The conclusion arrived at after much testing is that my drives aren't wonking - yet - but that I've been attempting to copy from a series of CDs containing corrupted files. Specifically, IniD 2nd Stage ep.13, PMK ep.15 and ep.23. They don't even come from the same people. What are the chances? >_> (And why can't it be the boring filler episodes? >_< Though it's mostly the IniD ep that's the problem, I'll go and dl the PMK eps next Saturday, I guess.) Maybe I messed them up shuffling them from spindle to spindle. But Canada Customs' tape took a chunk out of the optical layer of that Weiss Kreuz Gluhen CD the other time, and it still mostly worked okay.

PMK 15 is so corrupt even Windows Explorer horks on it and suffers massive slowdowns as it tries to decide whether the file exists or not. Feels like the setup to a bad joke.

Anyhow I'm definitely suffering from information overload. Never mind forgetting to watch things, I'm forgetting to download things ^^; - and on Friday night I had one of those attacks of scatteredness where I couldn't decide what to do/watch/read, because when the options are so multifarious nothing seems appealing enough. Embarras du choix. I hate that; it's a malady of privilege like boredom. Maybe I should step away and get some writing done? :/

(But which of my 1,034,273 WIPs to attend to? ^^;;;;;)
