Speaking of crack

Did Motoni Modoru name her "Killing Moon" yomikiri after the Echo and the Bunnymen song?
Because I suspect she just might have.
Apoptygma Berzerk - Electricity
Actually AB covering OMD, in their usual darkwave gothtechno style - if you've heard the slightest bit of Apoptygma Berzerk, you have the idea. Still the best pop song ever written about energy conservation.
Echo and the Bunnymen - Killing Moon
Might as well, now that I mention it. Kick-ass song, and I bet everyone on my flist has it already. XD
Juno Reactor and Fluke - Pistolero
I don't like Juno Reactor, mostly, but I like this. 'Cos, like, Once Upon A Time In Mexico and all that. XD And I'm reading Trigun Maximum now, so gunfights are uppermost in my consciousness.
SweetS - Lolita Strawberry In Summer
You're right, I put this up strictly for the title. *resists awful temptation to make Gunslinger Girl joke* But for idoru pop it's actually quite ace.
Tommy february6 - Je t'aime je t'aime
Would probably cause the reviewers over at PopJustice to wet themselves if they ever heard it. Goddammit, Tommy, why the hell did you spend so many years turning out mildly pleasant guitar pop with forgettable melodies if you were capable of this all along? And why are you doing 80's arena rock now? There is no justice.
UA - Antonio no Uta
The chaser. ^_^ Not many jpop vocalists in the past decade would even bother attempting this kind of song (jazzy bossa nova lounge), which is one of the many reasons I like UA. Ends up sounding rather like what happens when Poe does jazzy lounge; could fit quite well on the Lost In Translation OST. Download it and listen to the guitar line, at the very least.
In other news, does anyone want SaiKano music?
