Nauseating headache most of the afternoon, shading into exhaustion period. But mood was substantially improved by finding English issues of Five Star Stories on the shelf of a downtown comics shop. Bought #9 (that is, vol.IV part 1), because it's the beginning of the Traffics arc and one of my favorite chapters. Kaien! Aisha! Muse! AT! They're "only" 11$US per issue, people. No more excuses.

Also, now have a brushed-chrome flash-mem MP3 player that looks like an oversized zippo lighter. (Am plotting to get a GB phone strap for it at sjcon, assuming such things exist. It's the first time in my life I've ever had use for a phone strap.)

Have been asked by several people to just write down my analysis of Get Backers, already. Will do so when not completely brain-dead.

very curious, the fss translations, i've been seeing them pop up in borders books, not the kino translations, but another us company, i think. kino one's still better, give us more and on higher quality paper. and must agree, i love this story arc mainly for the wacky mirage knights running around doing crazy things (and wearing crazy things :b). though i think the nagano's off on vacation again. -_- was very irked when i picked up the latest volume to find his hideous attempt at something shoujo in some unrelated side story. i felt robbed!!!!

ah... need food, tongue feeling loose. -_-

ah, if it is interesting GB analysis with some kind of central theme that would make it a good stand-alone article, maybe I will ask you if I can archive it on my GB page in the articles section? ^^;

So they've licensed it out finally, then... well, good enough for me, at least I don't have to pay shipping. :P

Nagano and his bloody unrelated short stories. We're stuck, he knows the demand is inelastic. ^_^;

Sure, if it turns out nice enough, but it probably won't. ^^;
