Now it can be told: Legolas comes from outer space

Okay, you know what, I don't even wanna hear the explanation for this one. It can wreak havoc on my brain tomorrow. I'm going to bed.

Did you see the Cromartie-Jojo fanart already?

The only cromartie-jojo crossover fanart I found will be funnier when she's read part 5, I think.

Yeah I realized that in the middle of the night.

Because I think of these things subconsciously. *weep*

Why are you Jojo fans all coming out of the woodwork now!? *weeps more*

We were HIDING, you see, LYING IN WAIT, and...

Actually, no. I mean, I'd seen the old OVAs when they came out in the mid-90s and really liked it, but there was no way I could buy the (then-)65 volumes of manga to find out the rest of the story (what, I was like 16), so it kind of settled back into my subconsciousness until [livejournal.com profile] nemissa sent me the scanslations (and the raws to finish off parts 5-6) back in February. I must have burned through all 80 volumes in a week. I'm not sure I didn't damage my brain doing this; it's a bit like being crushed under a steamroller of weird. D:

Since then I've been trying to force as many people as I can to read the damn thing, since really, if you're on the right wavelength, it's so much fun! XD

There's something about Jojo that really just makes you sit down for a week and read it till your eyeballs bleed and you think three belts on your hat is really good fashion, and that green lipstick is totally in, isn't there. XD

I try to get people to read it too, but they're either turned off by the art or completely traumatized... by the art. Hee. Um.
