If you were going to serialise a manga, what artist/series would you rip off out of love pay obscure homage to?

I've already thrown a Gunsmith Cats homage into one story that was more-or-less directly inspired by Kenichi Sonada. Besides that, I think I might try to reference Death Note (before it went crappy), XXXholic, Blade of the Immortal, and maybe Bleach and Scott Pilgrim.
