In other news, I read the first volume of Ravages of Time last night (Charmian's been bugging me to read this for a year and a half). My reaction may grosso modo be summed up as "Wait, what? XD"

I'm reading it in Chinese so at least I have the advantage of having gone through the story several times already, though the RoT version is on crack. XD
