Bleargh
Oh gawd I am so tired. I'm too old to be staying up til 5AM reading manga. Talk to me, people.
On the topic of Black Wednesday: I'm not really taking this to be a sign of the downward spiral of the BL industry or anything (I mean I probably read/buy as many books from Chara or Gush), but there seems to be egregious financial mismanagement and that worries me. Here's hoping the transition is orderly and it doesn't turn out like the Squeenix/GanGan/ZeroSum drama or - worse! - like Shoujo Tenkoku where all the series just died for some reason (ah, the trauma =_=).
That and passing of an era blahblahblah. BexBoy/Gold were what everyone used as shorthand for the genre. Also what this will do to the publication of the most popular Biblos series in English I can't imagine (well, I can but they're not optimistic imaginings).
Also-also, I am the only one but I'm really kind of bummed about Hiland. I liked their doujinshi anthologies, dammit.
